Free and Confidential Ultrasounds

If you’ve had a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound is the next step. It shows what’s happening in your body, helping you make choices about your health. We offer free and confidential ultrasounds for women 7 to 20 weeks pregnant. Our trained staff will guide you in a warm, judgment-free space.

What is an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound uses safe sound waves (no radiation!) to show a picture of your pregnancy. Here’s how it works:
  • We put gel on your belly.
  • A small device slides over your skin.
  • A screen shows if you’re pregnant and can offer an estimated due date.
  • We’ll explain everything and answer your questions.

Could You Be Pregnant?

A pregnancy test says you’re pregnant, but an ultrasound checks if your pregnancy is growing right. Sometimes, pregnancies end on their own, and a test can’t tell you that. An ultrasound answers:

Is the pregnancy growing?

Does it have a heartbeat?

How far along are you?

This helps you know your options.

Is it in the right place?

Rarely, a pregnancy grows outside the uterus, which needs a doctor’s care.

If you’re thinking about abortion, knowing how far along you are helps you understand your choices.

Types of Ultrasounds

We offer limited obstetrical ultrasounds to check your pregnancy. These include:

Abdominal Ultrasound

A device moves over your belly to see your pregnancy.

Transvaginal Ultrasound

(if needed): A small device is gently used for a clearer view early on, only with your okay.

If you’re considering your options, knowing how far along you are can help you understand what choices are available.

Getting ready

Wear comfy clothes and drink water before your visit for a clearer picture. If you’re early in pregnancy, we might schedule another ultrasound later.
